I'm doing this review on this Mediband medical id bracelet for a peanut allergy because I have a 9 year old son who has a peanut allergy. We found out when he was just 3 years old when I had given him a peanut & jelly sandwich for lunch. It was one of the scariest things I have ever experienced. This bracelet is great to have, especially because my son is in school and is around a lot of different people all the time. Him having a reaction is something I think about everyday as a possibility. Knowing that he has this bracelet on brings me some piece of mind, that if something does happen when I'm not around, people will know about his condition, especially if he needs to go to the ER.
The bracelet itself is made of silicone, feels durable and is very flexible. It doesn't stretch to much, just enough to get around my son's hand and onto his wrist without sliding off. He is small for his age and has very small wrist, the small fits him very well. I like that it is red, so it is very noticeable and people will see it. The wording is nice and big and easy to read. It took him a few days to get used to it, but he doesn't even notice it now.
Overall, I am very happy with this product and my son wears his bracelet everyday while doing all of his daily activities. I like that Mediband has a great selection of other medical id bracelets, so I know where to go if I ever need another one for another reason.
