Navigating the Financial Aid Process - How to Prepare, Financially for College!

One of the most important things a new college student or a parent of a new college student can do is prepare financially for college. But, if you're like most Americans, including myself, you probably don't have enough money stored away under the mattress to simply write a check for your college tuition.

Did you know on average, college tuition increases by 8% per year. That means tuition will double every 9 years, but you'll be happy to know that there is help available. Most college students will receive some form of financial assistance.

Here's a great tool (below) from Southern New Hampshire University  that will help you through "Navigating the Financial Aid Process" For instance, you will learn and discover what FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is and how it can help you. And, if you happen to also take out a loan, they'll show you your options when it comes time for repayment. *See guide below for more information.
